To provide better services locally and to meet this growing need, WDHS has embarked on a redevelopment project to improve the delivery of cancer services in our region and reduce the need for cancer patients to travel long distances for quality care.

The new oncology area will look out over an internal courtyard and have up to nine treatment bays. The unit will occupy approximately 200 square metres – a significant increase on the current treatment area at WDHS, which accommodates only three treatment chairs.
